August 19

Day 3

We spent the day at the hotel pool then went to a nice dinner at Mama's Fish House to celebrate the reason we are in Maui, Matt and my 5 year anniversary.  We also said it was a trip for Mikaela's 3rd birthday too.  When Matt and I got married, November 21, 2005, we said that we would try and go back to Maui every 5 years.  So here we are in Maui with our little girl.  Life is so wonderful.

August 18

Day 2

We drove up the west side of Maui for some adverntures.  We found a nice little trail that lead to a gorgous view of the ocean.  Then we staopped at Matt and my favorite spot for banana bread.  Once we got our banana bread it was time to hike to the Nakalele Blowhole.  Mikaela LOVED the hike and did it all by herself while holding Matt's hand.  She was a trooper.  For dinner we went into Lahiana and watched the sun set on the beach right outside of Cheeseburger in Paradise. 

August 17

Day 1 of our trip to Maui. 

 It is going to be very hard to only pick a picture a day.  You might see one or two in the next couple of weeks of post.

August 16

It was a busy day.  First I had to pack for our trip, then Mikaela and I went and got pedicures, and once we were home we let Nico and Bodie meet for the first time.  (Wendy and Jesse are house sitting for us while we are gone to Maui and Nico is there cat)

August 15

August 14

Today was Mikaela's last day at Gymboree class.  We have been going since she was 6 months old and today we ended.  She has had so much fuun at Gymboree and learned lots of great things from there.  Thanks Nonna and Papa for letting Mikaela experience this wondreful place.  Also today was my sister-in-laws bridal shower at our house.

August 13

My little girl turned 3 today.  August 13th is such a wonderful day for our family.  We had a fun day starting with donuts for breakfast, lunch at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor and then a BBQ with family and friends at our house.  It truely was a wonderful day and she loved every minute of it.
