Halloween 2010! 

Here is my little "nice" witch.  She was so cute. 

We carved pumpkins with family earlier in the day then went over the the Law's house (a tradition the last 4 years running) to have dinner, trick-or-treat and pass out candy.  It was a great Halloween.

October 30

Goodie bags to hand out at soccer game today.  I kind of think Mikaela was a little more excited about passing out the bags then playing in the game today.

Mikaela asked for a pen today to write on her paper.  She is really good with her markers so I said ok.  Well I walked into the den and I found her with a mustache and goaty.  She said it was like her daddy.  How can you not LOL.

October 28

We have a sick little one on our hands.  She has laryngitis and a fever.  Poor baby! Nothing like a little french fries from McDonald's to make you feel better.

October 27

We took Mikaela to Disneyland today.  It was wonderful.  It was a complete surprise to her.  We started with the character breakfast at the Plaza Inn then road some rides.  She took a small nap before lunch, we ate then finished the afternoon with Dumbo and the Carrrousel (her 2 favorite).  Once we got home she started to run a fever, 102.6.  Poor thing is getting sick.

Mikaela at soccer practice today.  I took the picture looking through the window of the door to the racket ball court.  Mikaela has on black pants and a white t-shirt with her hands on her head, next to her daddy.

October 24

We took Mikaela to Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach after her soccer game today.  It was very crowded but and she was quite tired from her game.  But we got to go to the petting zoo, ride a ride and of course ride the pony.

Tonight we celebrated my mother-in-law birthday at Ruby's with family.  It was great!!  Happy Birthday Jill!!

Today I had my check-up appointment for the baby.  Everything looks well Dr B said.  The head is down, heartbeat wonderful, movement is great, we are both doing good.  I did some reading while I was waiting.  I read this book while I was pregnant with Mikaela too.

We visited with my mom and dad today on Skype.  We really enjoy Skype Time.

We went to Chick-fil-A after soccer practice today and we let Mikaela and Luc eat at their own table.  Growning up so fast.

October 17

I got to scrapbook today!!!  The studio was holding a fundraiser for the "Kids Unlimited".  It was a great day and I got about 19 pages done.  Some of them need a little bit more details added to them but I was happy to get through Mikaela turning 1 in our professsional album.

October 16

Mikaela had her first soccer game today at Y.  She played the third and forth quater with me running next to her. 

October 15

Today we went to the LA Zoo with the Lyell's.  Andrew took us around to see all the animals.  We got extra close to the giraffe and the elephant.

Shopping at Target and these were my "end cap" find for the day.

One of the things we have to do so that we can get the baby's room ready is share closets.  Matt and I have always had separate closets, mine is the one in our room and Matt uses the one in the office.  Well not anymore.  We both went through our clothes and made a pretty good donation to the Thrify Store but we still need more space.  We bought new hangers to help with space.  We still need more but this is a start. 

October 12

 It was not an easy soccer practice for Mikaela.  Don't really know what happen but she was not a happy girl.  We will see how Saturday goes.

Mikaela got her shin gaurds toady for soccer practice tomorrow and her first game on Saturday.

October 10

Today we spent the day as a family together.  We started the morning off with breakfast at Corner Bakery in Chino Hills on our way out to check out a bike race that Matt has been wanting to do.  Then we came home and relaxed.  We headed to Costco that evening and had dinner at home.  It was a nice Sunday together.
