This is my little girl the SuperHero ready for her Gymboree art class.  Then later on that day we went to the OC Fair.  Matt and I loved the food, (Matt even tried the fried butter) and Mikaela loved the animals. 

July 30

Mikaela and I had a wonderful day.  We went to breakfast with Matt before his doctors appointment. Then we went to Michael's to get supplies for her SuperHero outfit for Gymboree, we went to Party City to pick out my birthday stuff and then we met Rachael, Luc and Gwen at the LB Town Center water area. We ate lunch at Chick-fil-A for lunch with Rachael, Luc and Gwen and Rylie and Leslie joined us too.  (it was Come Back Day, keep your recite and come back in August and get the same meal free)  We then came home, napped, and when Mikaela woke up we did her art project.  We cooked dinner and ate together.   It really was a wonderful day.

I found this new dessert from an email that I get with recipes and I just had to try it.  It is called Strawberry Dream Squares.  It turned out very yummy I think.

We went to the Law's house for dinner and the daddy's took the kids on the roof to see what they have been working on.  I LOVE THIS PICTURE!

Matt has been working so hard on our dear friends roof that he has not spent a lot of time with Mikaela.  Tonight when he got home before bed they sat and laid on the couch and talked.   It was very sweet.

July 24

Mikaela spent the night at Grammy and Pa's house.  This is my big girl with her rolling backpack that she helped me pack for the night.  Matt and I had a night to ourselves which consisted of dinner at In and Out then home and watching a movie on the couch my 8pm. 

July 23

We spent the day at home cleaning and playing.  Aunt Brittany came over to watch Mikaela for a few hours while I went and subbed a class for Andy Vaca at CSULB.  Mikaela and I missed Matt for dinner but we sent him this picture.

July 22

Tonight I had Mikaela, Luc, Stewart, Rosslyn and Gwen all over at the house.  It was a crazy house for a couple of hours but they all had a wonderful time playing with each other.  This was dinner time.

Ultrasound at 20 weeks and 5 days

It was a great ultrasound and one of the highlights was seeing the baby's feet pushed up against my belly.  They were so clear and tiny. 

July 20

She is ready for her 2nd dance lesson.  She loves her new outfit and leg warmers and Rachael said she did better this week.  Need to work on chasses to the left. 

July 19

Tonight Mikaela and I made dinner.  I really do not cook that much so this is a real treat.  We made chicken fingers, a fruit salad, peas, and a strawberry-almond salad.  Dinner was yummy and Mikaela was a big help.  We also ate for the first time at the table that we moved back into the kitchen.  After dinner we went for  a walk with Bodie.  It was a wonderful night with my family.

I had a doctors appointment today and everything looks GREAT.  At 20 weeks and 3 days the heartbeat is good, the baby is active, and I have only gained 9 total pounds.  We have an ultrasound on Wednesday afternoon.

July 18

Mikaela is all ready to spend her first night in her big girl bed.  She napped in it today and tonight she is sleeeping through the night in it.  We are still waiting for her bedding that my parents bought her to arrive. 

July 17

Well the day has arrived.  Mikaela will be spending her last night in her crib.  Matt went and picked up her big girl furniture today from JCPenney's and we put it together today as well.  She is one excited little girl.

July 16

Today I took Mikaela to the dentist for her very first real check-up.  She did wonderful until the doctor came in and the tears came down.  But she still let him look at her teeth and they are healthy and look fantastic.  From there we headed to Mother's Beach to meet some friends for a beach day. 

Today I am 20 weeks (half way there)!!!  I feel great and once again am loving being pregnant.
Mikaela loves to kiss the baby and she talked to it today.  She said "Hi, what's your name?"  Which I find funny because if you ask her what you want to name the baby it is Gwen.

July 15

Today was the first day of Mikaela's swim lessons.  The private included 2 of my friends kids as well, Rylie and Lucas.  This was a first with me not being in the pool.  As you can see she is having fun but this soon turned into tears for mommy.  She has already told me she is not going to cry next week.  Fingures crossed. 

July 14

I was at it again today, moving furniture.  It has been a couple of months since I moved around the den but today it was time to move the living room.  The kitchen table came out of the living room and back in the kitchen.  I also moved my bargain chairs form Target off one wall to the wall where the kitchen table was. 

Now that leaves one wall empty to move the computer into that room.  Reason for all this is to make room for the new baby!!!  I ordered Mikaela's "big girl" bed and set on Monday so all her furniture is going to the baby.  I also ordered her quilt, sham, and pillows yesterday (thanks mom and dad).  I am slowly moving things around.  It is a process but it will get done.  My next move will be to move the office out into the living room once Matt gets me a phone jack in that room.  We all know I cannot be without the Internet.

July 13

Just a month shy of her 3rd birthday my little girl is took her first dance class today.  She didn't quite understand that it was in the baby room and not in the big room and why she was not dancing with the older girls.  Ms Rachael (Aunt Rachael) is her teacher for the summer session.  I was told that she needs to work on heel steps.  :)  I still can't believe she took her first dance class.

July 12

We went to California Adventure tonight to see the World of Color show.  It was beautiful and I can't wait to see it again. 

Rachael ordered us the picnic dinners and we sat up in the Wine area and ate dinner went into Bug's Life to ride Heimlich's chew chew Train, where Luc and Mikaela sat togehter by themselves then off to get our seats for World of Color.

July 11

We went to go see Toy Story 3 with all of our friends this afternoon.  We sat 2nd row and all the kids last through the whole movie.  There were 13 of us total.  It was lots of fun.

July 10

Today was a busy morning for Mikaela and I.  We went to breakfast with Matt at Corner Bakery, then headed to Gymboree after missing for a month.  We then we over to Rachael's house to deliver the double stroller for their vacation, then it was to Target to return something and get some popcorn and a drink (can't beat it for $1.50) then to Costco to check out the price of the furniture we have been looking at for Mikaela.  Once that was all done we went to a small carnival at the new dentist Mikaela is going to in a week.  They had jumpers, a bubble station, dancing, free hot dogs, and face painting.  She loved it.  We came home for naps and to my surprise my hubby saved his beard and head that morning after breakfast.  I love the now look.  Makes him look young again and shows off his AMAZING smile more.  We also went to dinner at the Guizado's new house in Pasadena.  Dinner was amazing, their house is adorable and the company was great.

July 9

I took Mikaela to Pretend City today with my friend Rachael and Leslie and their kids.  We had lots of fun and the kids loved it.  This was our very first stop, the kids did an art project- glue and glitter.  After Mikaela's nap she asked to see her Nonna and Papa so we got on the web cams.

July 8

We went to the park today across the street from the Law's house.  It was the 4 kids, Luc, Gwen, Rylie and Mikaela and us 3 girls, Rachael, Leslie and I.  We set up some activities for the summer for the kids to do.  We are having some pretty interesting weather right now in California.  It is very overcast in the moring and really has not been over 80 all week.  Doesn't quite feel like summer time

July 7

We met the Law's at Disneyland this afternoon and we watched the Celebrate Parade.  I called a former dancer of mine, who now dances at Disneyland in the parade, and she gave me exact location of wher she would be dancing during the last parade. 

It was so wonderful to see her dance.  We had a great time with the Law's riding Monsters Inc, Small World, and Buzz.  I enjoyed getting some time to shop while Matt took Mikaela on Buzz with Andy and Luc.

July 6

My sweet little girl feel stayed awake until we hit Mohave to gas up, potty and get lunch.  She didn't even make it through lunch. 

We made it home in about 5 hours.  It was a nice drive home.  Once we got home we unloaded the trailer, cleaned it, I started laundry, started uploading pictures and got the house back to normal.  It was a great vacation.

July 5

We headed up to Mammoth this afternoon.  We ate breakfast at The Stove then drove around.  It was a beautiful afternoon.  Matt and I found it very interesting that the ski slopes were still open to ski and snowboard on.  It is JULY!!!  WOW

HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!!!

I love the 4th of July.  Maybe it is the yummy food or maybe it is the fireworks, but I really enjoy the 4th of July.  This is Mikaela posing for me at the campground.  Such a straining smile!

Here is the 2010 River Floaters!!!

There was about 30 of us that floated the river for about 3 hours.  The water was colder than most years and was running pretty quick.  Matt, Mikaela, Rosslyn and me all stayed today the whole float.

Here we are again back at Klondike Lake and here I am 18 weeks pregnant today!!!!  Matt and I both felt the baby move 2 days before this picture.  Here's to 22 more weeks :)

 

July 1

We spent the morning at Klondike Lake.  We were the only ones there with the 2 waverunners.  Mikaela loved blowing the whistle while riding the waverunners with me then she went with Matt.
