June 30

First full day of camping in Bishop at the Brown's Town Campground.  We filled up the pool and let the kids have fun running through it and playing in it. 

Small history on Bishop:

Matt has been coming to Bishop since he was 3 months old, with the excepting of 2 years, one when he was younger they just didn't come and two the year I was around 34 weeks pregnant with Mikaela.  They have started it as a church outing and Jill and Bill brought up the church group.  Over the years, it has turned into friends, telling friends, who tell friends, who tell family who tell friends and we get a wide range of people coming to Bishop.  Matt and I have been dating since 1997 and I have missed 4 years of the 13.  Guess it will be my 10 year river float next year, WAHOO!!   We floated Mikaela at almost a year in 2008, she floated last year 2009 and once again this year 2010.  It is such a fun vacation that we look forward to every year.  If you ever want to join us we would love to have new people.  We are already talking about a date for next year.  :)

Backstage getting ready for our last show!!! It was a great run, all 4 shows!!!  I am so very proud of all the dances, I am very thankful for all the parents that volunteer their time, and I am so happy to have a job that I love so very much.

This is a gift I got today at the June Show from Caitlin and her mom.  June Show time, 2 shows down 2 to go!!!

Today was a very big day for Mikaela.  We went to Cerritos mall and I offered to get her something from the Disney Store but only if she threw away her paci.  She agreed and was very excited to pick out a toy.  She picked out a Cinderella figurine set.  Later that night she only cried for 5 minutes, Matt walked in and calmed her down and nothing has been said about the paci since.  Next we are on to finding her a big girl bedroom set.

We went to shopping at Sam's Club and Costco today and we picked up some Ruby's and Lucille's gift cards today.  (they have a good deal on these and if you eat out like our family does it is worth it)  So for dinner we went to Ruby's and this little one got a peanut butter cup milkshake for her dessert.  I was very lucky she shared with me.

Not a great picture today but on my way home from rehearsal at the studio I stopped and got us McDonald's for dinner.  Mikaela wanted to have a picnic in the floor with Matt and I while we listed to Pandora.  It was a great dinner.

Today I watched Lucas and Gwen for Rachael.  Mikaela and Luc watched Toy Story and ate lunch while Gwen napped and Gwen played with me while Mikaela and Luc napped.

I have a new craving....Vanilla Bean ice cream with chocolate syrup and a cherry.  This one also has Recess Peanut Butter Cup on the top too.

She usually won't eat her corn dog off the stick shehas to have it taken off and the corn removed.  Something changed today :)

Mikaela and I went over to Jill and Bill's house to celebrate Jesse's birthday.  Wendy made a wonderful dinner and the most amazing German Chocolate Cake (minus the coconut) for dessert.

We went out to Lancaster today to stay with daddy while he was working out of town.  Mikaela and I took a little swim while we were waiting for Matt to get done with work.  It was lots of fun.

If you have ever driven down the road to get to our house in the months of May and June you will notice the beautiful Jacaranda trees in bloom.  Mikaela calls them the purple trees and now points them out whenever we are driving. 

June 1

Well June is here, which menas we are half way through 2010.  WOW!!!!  This is a big month for me for work at the studio it is our annual June Production.  This year the theme is country western and the name of the show is "The Streets of Larado".   The show is the last weekend of the month, with rehearsals every Saturday and the week of.  Mikaela and I both have doctors appointemts this month and Matt has a dentist appointment.  We also leave for Bishop the last day of the month.  We will be camping in for Father's Day weekend in Bolsa Chica also.  :)  I enter my 2nd trimester June 4th.  It's going to be a fun filled month.
