We spent a nice day together as a family this Memorial Day.  We went to breakfast at Corner Bakery, did a little shopping at Walmart, Sports Chalet, and Sam's Club.  We hung my 2 hummingbird feeders and went to Happy Hour at East Side Mario's with family.  (Jill, Bill, Wendy and Jesse)

We celebrated Cheryl Owen's 60th birthday today at the Rio Hondo Counrty Club.  It was a wonderful afternoon.

My to loves slept in today so we missed Gymboree.  We had a good morning watching Shrek then Ryann came to get me for our first June Show rehearsal.  We were suppose to go to a graduation party but rehearsal went so late we missed it.  :(  Congrats Michael we love you.  Matt and Mikaela picked me up from the studio and headed to dinner.

My best friend Rachael graduated today with her Master!  I am so proud of the hard work she has done.  Way to go friend!!  A big hug from the Stevens family to you for such a wonderful accomplishment.

Chili's for dinner with Matt and Mikaela!! We love there 2 for $20 deal.  You get an appitizer, 2 meals, and out favorite dessert.  Mikaela loved the Molten Chocolate Cake.

Went shopping at Walmart today and finally found some curtains I thought would like good in the den and bring it some more color.

I decided to rearrange the furniture today.  Moved the Tv from the corner to the wall, the toy chest from the wall to the left corner in front of the closet doors, and Bodie's chair (that will soon be gone from the left corner to the right corner.

Mikaela and I had such a fun day at home playing.  We Played her Memory Game 3 times, she kept telling me "mommy I am great at this, you are not"  Oh the fun of letting your child think you can't do things as good as them, which brings me to think is this why I always beat my dad playing Checkers as a kid.  THANKS for letting me win dad.

Today was my last day of regualar classes at CSULB and Mikaela got the treat of Grammy watching her.  I picked her up to nap at home and once she woke up she had found some bubble wrap that Matt had left laying around the house for her to play with.  She had so much fun stomping on it and making it POP!!

Making tacos for dinner tonight.  Auntie Lorraine is out of town so Mikaela spent the day with Aunt Ryann.  She had a great time, thank you Aunt Ryann.

Getting a pedicure with my little girl on Mother's Day.  Jill, my mother-in-law went with us also.  Mikaela came into my room this morning and said "surprise, Happy Mother's Day, I want to watch TV with you in bed"  We watched and episode of Phineas and Ferb then her and Matt went and got donuts.  We relaxed at home after the pedicure trip then went to dinner at Bob's Big Boy so mommy could have Belgium Waffles.  It was a great day.  Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mothers out there.  I am so blessed to be a mommy to the most amazing little girl ever and a new little one on the way.  Being a mommy is the single most greatest joy of my life.

We had a date night tonight to see Iron Man 2.  We went to the Anaheim GardenWalk to the 21+ theaters,  they sale beer and wine.  Here is my date, my wonderful hubby with my popcorn and his beer.  It was a great movie.

Matt renewed our Disneyland passes today.  So this means another fun year of going to Disneyland to ride a few rides, eat some yummy food, and then home.   I love the quick trips.  This was also a reward for Mikaela for potty training.   I was so tuckered out from walking the few hours we were there.  I was asleep on the couch at 830pm. (oh the pregnancy tiredness)

Tonight Paula brought Mikaela out to work to watch the Dance Showcase.  She was more excited to run around and play than watch the dancers.  She was very cute walking up with her backpack on.

 

Yesterday I was having some wonderful cravings.  First I got Hot Dog on a Stick (just the corn dog) then went over to pink berry, and then before work I had to stop at Taco Bell for a taco supreme.  Before the the Dance Showcase I had a Weight Watcher pasta dinner and then on the way home I had one of the Smuckers peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  WOW!!

On Tuesday night I got home from work at about 830pm, Mikaela was already in bed, but when I walked in she started calling for me.  I went in to see her and she looked at me and said "I have a card for you,  it's a surprise, I show you".  So I have learned she can't keep a secret, she gets too excited.  It was very sweet.

I love In and Out!!!!

This pregnancy I have been very particular on what we have for dinner.  Usually Matt and I go back and forth, "what do you want for dinner?", "I don't know what you want?".  But I have been able to say what I want pretty much every night.

Matt has a new passion, RC car racing.  He even bought some shells to paint himself.

Here we are, the fifth month of the year, May.  Time just keeps on flying by.  This month we have a lot going on:  Gymboree class every Saturday, I end work at CSULB and Chapman for the Spring 2010 semester the 2nd week of May, I have a show at CSULB called the Dance Showcase, furlough day, Auntie Lorraine will be in Scotland so Ryann, Matt and Paula are going to watch Mikaela for the week,  rehearsal for the June show starts this month along with ticket sales, Mikaela has a dermatology appointment, I have a doctors appointment for the baby, and Celeste and Leslie's birthday on May 8th.
